Why is LPG Autogas better for the environment than traditional fuels?
The main environmental issues in the UK are poor air quality. Nitrogen Oxide (NOX) and fine particulates cause respiratory problems for our nations health and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) causes global warming. A diesel vehicle produces more than 20 times Nitrogen Oxide than a LPG vehicle and 120 times more fine particles than a LPG vehicle. LPG is perfectly safe, and is well known for its excellent safety record. LPG reservoir tanks are more robust and are safer than petrol ones. Most major car manufactures either supply LPG converted vehicles sold as factory items, or are looking to offer in the near future.

There is a vast range of LPG systems now available. Is the performance affected?
